Achieve accurate and reliable solar irradiance measurements in areas where sensors are affected by a variety of environmental conditions with NRG’s All-Weather PVH Kit.

NRG Systems’ All-Weather Pyranometer Ventilation and Heating (PVH) Kit allows users to achieve accurate and reliable solar irradiance measurements in areas where sensors can be affected by dust, dew, rain, frost, and snow. The solution is designed for a variety of climates and terrains and ensures precise data collection by integrating Hukseflux’s VU01 ventilation and heating component and an independent power supply with our SRA System. The All-weather PVH Kit improves system performance by preventing the formation of dew and frost on the dome of the pyranometer and facilitating the quick evaporation and sublimation of water and snow.

Ideal for utility-scale PV solar resource assessment campaigns, the All-Weather PVH Kit serves as an add-on to our SRA System. It also works in tandem with our Soiling Measurement Kit, which provides users with the information needed to quantify the site-specific impacts of soiling caused by snow, dust, and other particles on prospective and current PV projects.
