Protect your Symphonie series data logger and iPack from the elements with one of our fiberglass shelter boxes.
The fiberglass-reinforced polyester construction of our shelter boxes makes them both non-corrosive and strong enough to ensure long-term survival in the elements, including protecting the logger from falling ice. Symphonie Shelter Boxes includes custom internal mounting hardware—a specially designed back-plane and logger mounting plate—for quick installation and removal of Symphonie series instruments. The back-plane also features threaded inserts to accept the aluminum mounting bracket integral to the SymphoniePRO Data Logger’s wiring panel.
Four shelter box configurations are available in two sizes, 16” x 14” and the larger 18” x 16”. The larger size is recommended for iPackACCESS or iPackACCESS-BGAN M2M Satellite installations. Both shelter box sizes come complete with hardware for mounting on either lattice or tubular towers. Hose clamps are included in the lattice configuration for easy installation on towers with leg diameters between 45 mm (1.8”) and 70 mm (2.75”). The tubular configuration comes with hose clamps for mounting on tubular towers with diameters between 50 mm (2”) and 273 mm (10.75”).
