3 Cup heated anemometer for wind turbine control, compatible to digital inputs of turbine controllers, PLCs and other instruments.
Available in three different versions, all of them provide reliably measure wind speed for turbine control in all climates.

Benefits include:
• Two-stage contamination protection extends sensor life.
• Fully sealed sensor body minimizes dust, dirt, and water ingress.
• New cartridge bearing design. This new fully encapsulated bearing design makes the bearings literally free of invasion from dust and/or humidity, as well as other ambient agents such as saltpetre, allowing a longer sensor life. Additionally, it improves performance and accuracy in upslope and downslope winds, doing the sensor less sensitive to overspeeds due to effects of turbulences or vertical winds.
• Heater fully embedded on sensor head:
• Improved icing performance.
• Self-regulated. No external temperature switch required.
• Power consumption is automatically adjusted to keep the optimum working temperature.
• Shock-resistant bearing mounting prevents damage caused by rough handling.
• Rugged metal head prevents breakage due to accidental drops or icing.
• Recommended maintenance interval of 10 years eliminates unwanted trips to your turbines.
• Quick connection/disconnection feature reduces turbine off-line during maintenance or repair.
• All zinc body reduces environmental impact no nickel plating. Improved corrosion performance.

Hybrid XT Anemometer Standard

PNP square wave output signal, frequency proportional to wind speed.
Windspeed (m/s) = 0.5 m/s * Hz – 0.5 m/s
Output range from 1 to 141 Hz or higher (0 Hz indicates a fault condition).
Output amplitude equals supply voltage.
Many other signal types available by adding optional personality module, which do it suitable to fit literally whatever type of wind turbine (AC Sine wave, NPN, PNP, Push-Pull, 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 1-5V, 0-5V).
Part number: 4718
Compatibility: Whatever turbine type that accepts any of the above signal types.

Hybrid XT Anemometer Push-Pull Output

Push-Pull output signal, compatible with NPN or PNP inputs.
Windspeed (m/s) = 0.509 m/s * Hz + 0.4 m/s
Output amplitude equals supply voltage.
Compatibility: Gamesa turbines (p/n 9387) and whatever other turbine type that accepts square wave input signals (p/n 7901).

Hybrid XT Anemometer 4-20mA Output

4-20 mA current loop output signal, sourced by the sensor.
Recommended load resistance 50Ω to 1000Ω (depending on power supply).
Two measuring ranges available:
· 0-50 m/s (p/n 5763).
· 0-60 m/s (p/n 9365).
Compatibility: Wind turbines accepting 4-20mA current loop inputs.
