The AIR line of Lectrodryers is a series of dryers designed specifically for general plant and instrument air service. These dryers were developed to be low in first cost, low in cost operation, and require little attention or maintenance. This was accomplished by making each unit as simple and foolproof as possible.
The Type B Lectrodryer are designed to remove water and other impurities from process gases down to 0.1ppm. Problems in a process which may arise from hazardous or corrosive contaminants in the process gas stream can be easily and effectively remedied with this B-type Lectrodryer.
Designed exclusively to meet the demands of process line gas, the BA is a regenerative-type dryer for compressed air or gas drying. It has a dual tower system suit-able for either steam or electric reactivation, fully automatic in operation. A dependable reactivation blower is provided, thus eliminating the need for the process gas from the steam being required for reac-tivation. And it can provide gas or air with a dew point of -40ºF or below.
The Type BP has a closed-circuit reactivation sys-tem that makes it ideal for drying gases without con-tamination from the atmosphere. And this includes typical gases such as hydrogen, nitrogen, helium, argon, and methane. The BP accomplishes this by using dual adsorbers that are heat reactivated for drying compressed air and other gases to dew-points down to –80°F, with reactivation occurring at line pressure.
No purge loss, no blower, continuous low dewpoints. The type BZ Lectrodryer is ideally suited for drying compressed air or gas. The unit is fully automatic, positive in operation and built for reliable and foolproof operation.
The type HPB Lectrodryer is the most efficient and dependable high pressure desiccant dryer available. Units are specially designed for high-pressure gas drying applications and are capable of handling pressure ranging from 300 PSIG (21 bar) up to 6000 PSIG (414 bar). HPB series are capable of providing a -60°F (-51°C) exit dewpoint with activated alumina and a -100°F (-73°C) dewpoint with molecular sieve.
The Type-R LECTRODRYER is a dual absorber unit capable of drying compressed air and gases to dewpoints of -100 F and below without using electric heaters or any other source of heat for reactivation.
The Type-T Lectrodryers are dual adsorber units for the continuous or intermittent drying of compressed air. They combine economy with high performance standards. They utilize regenerative type desiccants such as activated aluminas, silica gels, and molecular sieves. They are fully automatic in operation requiring no manual attention. A full range of sizes is available up to 4000 SCFM. Type-T Lectrodryers can also be used for drying gases where the purging gas can be wasted or returned to the suction of the compressor for recycling.
The Type GAS-B Lectrodryer is specially designed for general process air and gas service, dissociated ammonia service, removal of moisture from cylinder gasses, and for the removal of non-condensable contaminants from all process gas. It is a solid adsorption heat-reactivated gas dryer in a dual tower design that provides efficient and continuous operation. And it is economi-cal because the GAS-B was carefully developed to offer low first cost, low operating cost and requires little or no maintenance. The type Gas-B Lectrodryer is available in a full range of sizes and capacities to meet the individual drying needs of your particular operation.
The Type Gas CC Lectrodryer is specially designed for drying atmospheric and cylinder gases. It eliminates the moisture from process gases such as hydrogen, nitrogen, helium, oxy-gen, Freon, and other precious gases. Its dual tower solid ab-sorption, heat-reactivated design provides continuous drying of gas. And GAS-CC is manufactured with a closed-circuit system that utilizes a captive volume of the process gas dur-ing reactivation as there’s no need for purging.
Lectrodryer’s line of desiccant dryer is ideal for the compressed natural gas industry serving natural gas vehicles. The dryers are capable of reaching the fuel vehicle standards with no purging or venting requirements. Unlike many systems being offered to the industry, Lectrodryer’s closed circuit system overcomes fuel quality and storage tank problems, and works equally well with low and high pressure compressors. A special grade of molecular sieve is used to guard against heavy hydrocarbon adsorption and mercaptan loss.
