Hydraulic Torque Wrenches is probably the best alternative for Torque Tightening when compared to other torque methods. But to assure this, such tools have to be designed in a way that Safety, Repeatability, Handling, Accuracy, Reliability and Ease of operation are taken into account very seriously.

Hydraulic Torque Wrenches are capable of applying very high loads, thanks to their hydraulic concept; they can apply such high loads in a constant and gradual manner, without peaks and very high levels of torque accuracy since we know the hydraulic area of the wrench’s cylinder and we can control very precisely the pressure applied to their cylinder. But, as said, none of these benefits can be taken advantage of, in we don’t enjoy the right design, reaction points, fitting the application, being small and light without sacrificing reliability, complete right angle positioning, etc.

Texas Controls offers two main families of Hydraulic Torque wrenches, all of which are made of steel and with the minimum number of moving parts to assure reliability, maintaining the best torque / size / weight ratio, at the same time offering the highest degree of advancement per stroke (speed). Tools can be supplied either with a square drive or hex cassette for direct fit or even with specially designed Allen Drives and custom made sockets.

Our Hydraulic Torque Wrenches can be used with either electric or pneumatic driven hydraulic pumps with special automated, sensorized, data collection and torque and angle features.
