We have developed the first virtual reality simulator for the wind industry
We have just introduced the first experience in virtual reality for controlled tightening, within a unique, realistic, and interactive simulated space. The experience, developed entirely in Galicia, has been led by Texas Controls in collaboration with the specialist company Xoia. The development allows the simulation of high-risk and difficult-access work environments and transfers them to a secure, flexible, and autonomous virtual environment. In wind turbine work, each joint is critical, requiring the work to be carried out by experienced, competent, and certified technicians. This is compounded by the use of complex products and techniques, the risks associated with height or extremely high equipment pressure, as well as the harsh environmental conditions. This technology will help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and field experience by providing practical, realistic training to workers.

Largest turbines and capacity in the wind industry
In the wind industry, there is a growing trend towards the development of larger and larger capacity wind turbines, increasing efficiency and energy production. Additionally, advanced energy storage technologies are being implemented to overcome the challenges associated with the intermittency of wind generation. Another important trend is the integration of digital and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to optimize the performance and operation of wind farms, enabling better monitoring, predictive maintenance and remote control of assets.
Emphasis on the development of sustainable products and processes in the petrochemical industry to reduce environmental impact
This involves a greater adoption of technologies for converting plastic waste into value-added products and the promotion of a circular economy throughout the supply chain. Another significant trend is the integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, to enhance operational efficiency, streamline manufacturing processes, and reduce production costs. Additionally, there is a renewed focus on diversifying petrochemical products to align with changing market demands and stricter environmental regulations.

THE HISTORY OF TEXAS CONTROLS 1990-2023
More than 25 years ago, our journey began at Texas Controls, filled with the typical excitement that accompanies every new beginning. Throughout this time, we have traveled a long and winding road, where our dedication to serving our customers and our commitment to doing quality work have always defined us.
This journey wouldn't have been possible without the support, collaboration, and enthusiasm of many individuals, friends, companies, but above all, it wouldn't have been possible without the entire Texas team. Today, we are one big family, a result of everyone's hard work, our DNA (continuous improvement), and, most importantly, our strong desire to provide the best service in the national and international markets. All of this while upholding our values and maintaining a clear social and corporate commitment.
1990
The company's history actually begins a little earlier, in 1988, when our CEO Frank Fernández created the first prototype for the wind industry in the 1MW Wind Turbine. At that time, he realized that this industry could be a niche market, and from that day on, the development of special solutions has never stopped
1995-2006
In 1990, it was decided that our business model would be based on the distribution of the best international brands for industrial supply throughout Spain. Our headquarters were located in the Grela Industrial Estate, with just a team of 5 people.
2018-2022
The company's growth begins to rise exponentially, reaching up to 40%. The business model evolves to offer additional services, such as equipment rental, on-site supervision, and repair and customer equipment support.
2023
From Bergondo to infinity! With the arrival of BoltPilot®, we solidify our position as a global company. At this point, we begin to embrace Industry 4.0, software development, and construct the new C-6 facility
