Generator fast degas CO2 system

The Lectrodryer Automated CO2 Purge Package is composed of two systems:

• Generator Fast Degas CO2 System (GFD)
• Generator Gas Monitoring and Control Piping (GMCP).

These systems are state of the art used to expedite and automate the degassing of hydrogen or air from hydrogen cooled generators using CO2 as the inert gas.
This process takes 4 to 12 hours to prevent lines from clogging with dry ice due to the cryogenic nature of CO2.
With the Automated CO2 Purge Package, Lectrodryer can help reduce the time and cost involved in scheduled and forced outages by allowing the generator to be purged and brought back online much more rapidly and automatically.
These systems can be used for emergencies during dangerous upset conditions or for normal outages.
